CB Process Water Tank

BG&E Resources was requested to provide a proposal for the design of a new 1,716m³ capacity steel tank to store process water. The new tank replaced the existing bolted panel tank of diameter 15.75m and height 8.81m. The old existing was demolished during a 5-day shutdown. The new tank was constructed adjacent to the existing tank, ±30m away, pre-shutdown and then lifted into position. The new design included all the relevant lifting beams, lugs and equipment required to lift the tank into position.
