We are pleased to announce Douglas Tapper will take on the role of Director of Energy.

Doug has more than 25 years’ experience gained from Aurecon, Energy Developments, Coffey Projects, and WSP (formerly Parsons Brinkerhoff) to name a few, in leading the development and delivery of major energy and resource projects in Australia, USA and the United Kingdom.

We are pleased to announce Kate Hartness will take on the role of Director – Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG).

Kate joined the team last year and as the Director of ESG and a Member of the Executive Leadership Team at BG&E Resources (BGER), will assist in helping clients in the Mining, Energy and Heavy Industry sectors to transition to a low-carbon economy, improve social equity and enhance transparency.

We are pleased to announce BG&E Resources has been awarded the Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management tender for Mid West Ports Authority (MWPA) Port Maximisation Project (PMaxP).

PMaxP is a major infrastructure project at the Geraldton Port in response to a significant projected throughput increase from 15MT to around 25MT per annum over the next 10 years. The new trade forecasted will consist of multi-products, delivered by numerous new customers, none of which can currently be catered for.

We are pleased to announce Joe Allen will take on the role of Director of Operations – Australia.

Joe joined the BGER team almost two years ago and has been essential in our growth across sectors, industries and regions. Joe’s ability to drive change through collaboration have seen him successfully develop initiatives including excellence in resource management, decarbonisation of industry and rapid project execution.

We are pleased to announce our new Project Office!

Conveniently located in the heart of the Perth CBD, our new office will provide over 100 additional desk spaces to accommodate our rapidly growing team.

Spaciously spanning across two floors, our office features newly furnished meeting rooms, office desks and kitchen.

The new office is located at 168 St Georges Terrace.

We are pleased to continue our work with Leichhardt to deliver the Eramurra Solar Salt BFS, this contract award follows the completion by BG&E Resources of a series of Preliminary Engineering and Trade-off Studies, which have facilitated scope definition for the project.

Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively with clients to provide solutions that are innovative and sustainable. 

The mechanical team welcomed Andrea O’Brien into the role of Discipline Lead. Andrea has been with the team for over a year and will bring a great improvement to organisational planning and communication across the Mechanical and Project Management function. Congratulations Andrea.
