BG&E Resources (BGER) is pleased to partner with Oracle (Rob Musca) for the third instalment in our anticipated Document Control event series.
This session brought together over 40 industry professionals, including Document Controllers, Project Managers, and Quality champions, representing a diverse range of sectors such as Construction, Engineering, Transport, Manufacturing, Mining, and Resources.
The event kicked off with a warm welcome by Sixian Yip, Lead Document Controller from BGER. Christine Clement from Lynas Rare Earths facilitated the session, setting the stage for an engaging and insightful discussion.
The panel featured speakers including Brad Thomas, BGER’s Discipline Lead – Civil, and Danny Rowland, Lead Quality Advisor from INPEX. They shared their valuable insights and experiences on maintaining quality throughout the entire project lifecycle – from design to construction and commissioning.
Participants left the session with a deeper understanding of the importance of how document control integrates with the wider Quality function. This included discussion around organisational leaders being seen as the Champions of Quality, the quality expectations of customers, and its ultimate impact on project success. The event not only provided a platform for knowledge sharing but also fostered connections among industry professionals, paving the way for future collaborations and building a Culture of Quality excellence.
