Katrina Grose appointed CFO for BG&E Resources

Leading engineering and ESG advisory consultancy, BG&E Resources is pleased to announce the appointment of Katrina Grose as Chief Financial Officer to facilitate the company’s growth and continued diversification across the Resources, Energy and Industrial sectors.

Effective from Monday 31 July 2023, Katrina joins BG&E Resources in Perth, following extensive finance experience across ASX-listed, private and NFP entities.

Katrina is a chartered accountant and chartered company secretary and has completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors’ Company Directors Course. She will leverage her expertise in leading finance teams to streamline processes, increase efficiency and improve governance as BG&E Resources embarks on the next step of its growth.

Katrina also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Energy and the Environment from Murdoch University. She has experience in the renewables industry and a longstanding interest in energy transition and understanding of carbon pricing.

Katrina said, “This is a terrific opportunity to support BG&E Resources during a time of significant growth and change for our industry, especially with the developments that the energy transition and decarbonisation of the resources and industrial sectors present.

“My focus for the immediate future is to align BG&E Resources’ financial and corporate strategy to solidify our position as a trusted advisor to our clients – helping them plan, build and optimise infrastructure assets by harnessing low-carbon solutions and enhancing their social license to operate.”

Outside of work, Katrina likes eating out and getting away down south as often as possible. She also enjoys volunteering and is the Honorary Treasurer of the Government House Foundation of Western Australia.
